hi i'm matt, currently a senior at uc irvine studying software engineering. i've been building full-stack apps and websites for the last 2 years. recently, i've been working as a founding engineer at onda, a startup building a social activity planning app that makes it easier for friends to organize and coordinate plans. before that i was a developer at the union of vietnamese student associations (uvsa), working on the organization's official website.

before i dedicated my time to learning software and technology, i spent much of my time playing league of legends competitively under the alias "kurulean". from trying out for tsm when i was 16 to competing for uci when i was 20, league has brought me countless opportunities and allowed me to meet some of my closest friends. when i'm not grinding dsa or building projects, you'll probably find me doing something active. i've gotten really into climbing over this past year and currently climb around v6, with v10 as the long-term goal. i've also been lifting regularly for the last 5 years and have built a physqiue i'm quite proud of. whether it be tech, climbing, or lifting, i'm always looking to improve and level up. leetcode progress:
